Prominent Norwegian Peace-researcher Johan Galtung reveals his hatred of Jews and Israel

How can conflict resolution be used to end the Israel-Arab conflict? Professor Johan Galtung, pioneer in peace studies, would solve the conflict by erasing Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people. Of course, this is a rational solution that would clearly end the conflict since one of the parties to the struggle would no longer exist. But it should also be no surprise that Galtung has been revealed as a hater of Jews and of Israel.

Zsolt Barath of the Jobbik party revives the 1882 Hungarian blood libel against the Jews

In a speech to the Parliament, Zsolt Barath criticized the verdict in a well-known, 19th-century court case that had found several Jews innocent of murdering a Hungarian peasant girl. That verdict stoked anti-Semitism in Hungary at the time and led to disturbances in cities across the country.

On April 3, 2012, Barath, representative for the Jasz-Szolnok county Metro area since his election in 25/04/2010, and member of the far-right Jobbik party, commemorated the case by claiming the judge had proof of the defendants' guilt but succumbed to pressure to acquit them to avoid seeing Hungary bankrupted by international financiers who he implied were Jewish.

He went on to claim that Hungary is again facing the pressures of such Jewish “international financiers.”

Bilda, a Swedish Christian Educational Association, sends a blatant anti-Semitic message to Swedish churchgoers

Bilda, a Christian Swedish educational association, removed one criticized drawing, which portrayed Israelis as rats and the West Bank as cheese, from an art exhibition at the Immanuel International Church (Immanuelskyrkan) scheduled for March 16 to April 10 2012. But other drawings by Stefan Sjöblom and Larz Lindqvist in the exhibition titled "The holy land - det håliga landet" (land of holes) are also strongly anti-Semitic. Both artists are pastors in the Mission Covenant Church of Sweden, and Sjoblom also works as a prison pastor.

Anna Ekström, a freelance journalist based in Sweden, described her visit to the art exhibition in an article published in the newspaper Haaretz. She said: “Anti-Israel propaganda is common, but this is something else. The artist accuses Judaism of being inherently destructive.” The artists imagery is a fusion of anti-Jewish myths from Christianity, Nazism, the Left and Islamism.

An anti-Semitic game titled “The Settlers of the West Bank” removed from Dutch public broadcasting network

A Dutch public broadcasting network offered its viewers a downloadable board game featuring Israeli settlers who use “Jewish stinginess” and “the Anne Frank card” to colonize the West Bank.

Rifat Odeh Kassis uses his position as president of the “Defence for Children International”(DCI) to delegitimize Israel

Rifat Odeh Kassis in 1992 founded the Palestinian section of the international child rights organization, Defence for Children International (DCI). Far from confining itself to the objectives of its mission statement “Promoting and protecting the rights of Palestinian children in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC),” Kassis uses DCI-Pal to advance a radical anti-Israel agenda through its support for Boycotts, Divestment and Sanction campaigns and in lobbying foreign governments and organizations against Israel.

Rae Abileah has found her calling as a professional Jewish activist for CODEPINK against Israel

Rae Abileah is the woman who made headlines when she disrupted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speaking engagement at the United States Congress on May 24, 2011. She held a banner that said “Occupying land is indefensible” and shouted “No more occupation, stop Israel war crimes, equal rights for Palestinians, occupation is indefensible.”

Rae Abileah is a national organizer for CODEPINK, an anti-war group composed mainly of women. CODEPINK calls itself a peace and social justice movement (pacifist) that they state is working to end U.S. funded wars and occupations, to challenge militarism globally, and to redirect US resources into health care, education, green jobs and other life-affirming activities.

Ilse van Heusden demonstrates how positive features about Israel can be transformed into an attack on the country and the Jewish People

Ilse van Heusden writes articles about Israel for the Dutch daily Trouw. She describes activities that might be seen as admirable by most people, but manages to slant the story so it is an attack on Israel. In doing this, she makes use of accusations and insinuations reminiscent of classic anti-Semitic rants and with little concern for the accuracy of her facts.

British Director Peter Kosminsky writes and directs an anti-Semitic TV series about the creation and present deeds of the State of Israel

The Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) complained on January 10, 2012 to the Australian broadcaster SBS about the British-made television series ‘The Promise’, which it says conveys anti-Jewish stereotypes. The four episodes of the series were screened on successive Sunday evenings beginning on 27 November 2011.

“Christ at the Checkpoint 2012 Conference” is a Christian attack against the idea of a Jewish homeland

In March of 2012, the Bible College in Bethlehem will host dozens of US theologians, activists and ministries for the “Christ at the Checkpoint 2012 Conference.” Bethlehem Bible College trains Christian servant-leaders for the churches and society within an Arab context. Founded in 1979 by local Arabs, the college usually enrolls 135 students who are interested in Christian service in the Middle East.
