Abdullah el-Faisal is a radical Muslim cleric. He has served jail time and been deported from both England and Jamaica for inciting violence against ethnic and religious groups, including the Jews.
Born in Jamaica, el-Faisal converted to Islam in high school. After studying Arabic in Guyana and Islam in Saudi Arabia, El-Faisal settled in the United Kingdom. There, he would begin preaching and lecturing at Mosques all over the country. His lectures were recorded and sold on tape.
El-Faisal's lectures featured racial hatred and called to kill Jews, Americans and Hindus. His lectures featured statements, such as: "People with British passports, if you fly into Israel, it is easy. Fly into Israel and do whatever you can. If you die, you are up in paradise. How do you fight a Jew? You kill a Jew, in the case of Hindus, by bombing their businesses”.
El-Faisal has preached to and influenced several well known terrorists, including the four men who carried out the July 7th 2005 London bombings. He is an associate of notorious anti-Semitic cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri, who has also called for the murder of Jews.
In 2003, el-Faisal was tried and convicted for soliciting the murder of Jews, Americans and Hindus, as well as spreading racial hatred. After four years in prison, he was deported from the UK and banned from entering the country. El-Faisal went on to travel and preach throughout Africa.
In the first week of 2010, he was arrested in Kenya by anti-terror police for breaching his terms of visa, according to which he is banned from preaching. On January 7th, el-Faisal was deported to Gambia.
"Jews should be killed, as by Hitler."
