The Egyptian television channel Al –Faraeen is currently running a weekly show titled "In Articulate Hebrew." The program uses the infamously anti-Semitic forgery "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" as a basis for its plot.
In the show, the Jews control the world through Israel, money and prostitution. In Articulate Hebrew presents itself as an authentic depiction of Jewish world domination.
The channel has recently announced that it will cooperate with German state television, which will produce four programs for the channel.
Simon Wiesenthal Centre stated that the television network should "investigate and cancel any such association”. Germany has a commitment to OSCE and EU to work against broadcasting of anti-Semitic material.
It is not uncommon to see anti-Semitic programming on Egyptian television. Shows such as "The Legend of Anti-Semitism" and "Horseman Without A Horse" have portrayed the Jews using classic anti-Semitic stereotypes, while accusing them of world domination.
