State-run Iranian English language news network Press TV is a widely acknowledged mouthpiece of the Iranian regime’s often anti-Semitic and consistently anti-Israeli attitude.
In addition to baseless accusations of deliberate Israeli murder of innocent Palestinian women and children, Press TV, like many in the region, denies the right of Jews to self-rule in Israel.
But beyond the content of its reports is the fact that readers’ comments are not filtered, regardless of their subject. The agency simply writes, “The views expressed and the links provided on our comment pages are the personal views of individual contributors and do not necessarily reflect the views of Press TV.”
What Press TV essentially does is attract an anti-Semitic audience by turning any mention of Israel or Jews into an attack on Zionism and Israeli foreign policy. Once doing this, it allows its readers to use their website as a message board to spread anti-Semitism.
