The International Women’s Peace Service in Palestine (IWPS-Palestine) is an ad hoc organization. They have an organizational name, a logo, a website, and a rented house in the village of Deir Istiya in Samaria. But they have no leader and lack a permanent staff. Participants are members of other organizations and simply make use of the facility when spending time in Samaria.

Far beyond their small numbers, they can get headlines and photo opportunities in order to malign the Jewish State. They have been a feature of West Bank confrontation between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians.
