NPR sting exposes more “elitist” anti-Semitism

A sting video making waves in Washington shows a senior National Public Radio (NPR) executive meeting with activists posing as Muslim Brotherhood representatives and making a wonderfully unabashed display of elitist arrogance.

Less noticed in Ron Schiller’s Tea Party and non-intellectuals rant, are the age-old anti-Semitic canards which show up in the conversation about Jewish control of the media.

Baited by the “Muslim Brotherhood” activists, who said they were interested in donating 5 million dollars to the NPR in order to offset pro-Zionist coverage in the mainstream media, Ron Schiller nodded his agreement and noted that he doesn’t find “Zionist or pro-Israel” ideas at NPR, “even among funders. I mean it’s there in those who own newspapers, obviously, but no one owns NPR.”

Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America, told The Daily Caller: “It is really frightening when the then-head of NPR agrees with this type of anti-Semitic nonsense — especially when this is a publicly funded organization and gets a large amount of funds from the Jews”.

The sting video was made by U.S. Conservative activist James O'Keefe, whose 2009 video sting of ACORN was credited with the demise of the organization.

As to the star of the video, Ron Schiller, between the filming of his lunch with the ‘Muslim Brothers’ on February 22nd and the release of the video March 8th, he has left the NPR and on April 1st will take up his new position as the new director of the Aspen Institute Arts Program and Harman-Eisner Artist-in-Residence Program. Aspen Institute President and CEO Walter Isaacson stated that "Ron Schiller embraces and lives the values that we share as a community" in the press release announcing the new hire five days ago.
