Web of Hate

Electronic Intifada is a website that generates “cyberpropaganda” against Jews and the State of Israel

The Electronic Intifada (EI) is an online publication based in Chicago which covers the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from a Palestinian perspective, "aimed at combating the pro-Israeli, pro-American spin" its editors believe exists in mainstream media accounts.

EI may not be firing machine guns or throwing stones, but its computer is on the new frontline of the century-old Israeli-Palestinian conflict. There are no bullets, no explosives and no noise, but the Internet has become an extension of the war of attrition between Israel and the Palestinians.

Ikhwanonline.com: the Arabic website of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, is rife with anti- Semitic and anti-Israel content

Picture above is of the Ikhwanonline.com website and its logo. The word under those crossed swords is not “Freedom” as it is often translated. It is in modern standard Arabic: “And prepared” or  “Prepare” or “Make Preparation” or “Make Ready” or “And Make Ready” and it refers to an important verse in Surah 8 in the Quran (alternative translation here):

“(8:60) Make ready for an encounter against them all the forces and well-readied horses you can muster that you may overawe the enemies of Allah and your own enemies and others besides them of whom you are unaware but of whom Allah is aware. Whatever you may spend in the cause of Allah shall be fully repaid to you, and you shall not be wronged.”

On Jan. 11, 2012, the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a non-profit group that monitors and translates Arabic and Farsi media, published a report about the website of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in Egypt, Ikhwanonline.com.

The website was found to contain articles with anti-Semitic motifs, including Holocaust denial and descriptions of the "Jewish character" as covetous, exploitative, and a source of evil in human society. While articles of this tenor have been posted on the site in the past, their posting has recently taken on greater importance in light of the group's increasing strength following the ouster of the Mubarak regime.

Websites of hatred constructed by David Hobson of Minnetonka, MN

There is a nest of anti-Semitic websites on the internet that have been constructed by one person, David Hobson. David Hobson describes himself as a “True Catholic” who is quite familiar with Church History and Scholasticism.

David Hobson is a religious conspiracy theorist. He sees a world as controlled by “Judeo-Masonry.” His attention is directed in particular at the Catholic Church that he claims to be under the control of Marranos: Jews who lived in the Iberian Peninsula at the end of the 15th century who were forced to convert to Christianity but continued to observe rabbinic Judaism in secret.

Leading Hate Site: JewWatch.com

JewWatch.com was established in 1998 and formerly owned and maintained by Frank Weltner, a member of the National Alliance, a white nationalist organization. Now owned by James Stenzel, it claims to be ostensibly a “scholarly resource” of information about the Jewish people and “worldwide Zionist criminality,” but it is in reality the internet’s first and foremost source of hateful misinformation against the Jews.
