Kinsman Redeemer Ministries

Background

Kinsman Redeemer Ministries is a website that is an “outreach” to counter the teachings of U.S. churches today which have been “corrupted with the trappings of Jewish fables and false doctrines…” Many of the writings found on the website are based on Christian Identity, which claims that the chosen ones are not the Jews but the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Scandinavian, and Germanic peoples.

Themes

Kinsman Redeemer Ministries offers ‘doctrines’ in written and audio form. The writings are divided into 7 main categories, including Militant, Race, and Jews. In the Jews category, there is a 5-part ‘sermon’ called “Why We Hate Jews”. The first part of this particular sermon lists the 29 reasons to hate Jews, which include the Talmud, Murder, Lies, Stealing, Race Mixing, the Occult, and Satanism/Insanity.

The website blames the Jews for much of the “darkness” in the world and claims that they have a “congenital wickedness”, i.e. evilness inherent in their DNA.

Ownership

All the material on the Kinsman Redeemer Ministries website is written by Pastor Mark Downey. However, the true ownership of the website is unclear. The IP address this website is registered to also holds 7 other domains, of which the 3 available for viewing are registered to Stormfront, a white supremacist organization.

Scope

The second result on a Google search for the words “hate” and “Jew” turns up the ‘sermon’ “Why We Hate Jews”.

According to Alexa.com, the Kinsman Redeemer Ministries website has 22 other sites linking to it and in the last 3 months has seen a 150% increase in page views, 43% of which come from the U.S. and 57% which come from the rest of the world.

Kinsman Redeemer Ministries provides links to other hate websites including Stormfront and The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.

The group is considered to be a non-profit organization and is tax-exempt in the U.S. according to watchdog.net.
